Today was a “zero” day!
Since Wendy and Hank live a little ways from town, we took a chance and asked our “overbooked” hotel to provide transportation for us, and they did!! They ALSO offered to take us to the laundromat, so we took them up on the offer! And later, when running errands in town, we happened to see the owner of the hotel doing his own errands, and he let us throw our clean laundry into his car so we didn’t have to drag it around all day- Idyllwild is such a neat, chill town!
Between errands we ate a lot of food, spent some time with Mayor Max and Parker the Snow Dog, and caught up with our trail friends both old and new over drinks and laughs.
